Confederation Centre and Art Gallery
Confederation Centre of the Arts and Confederation Centre Art Gallery fill a full city block in the heart of downtown Charlottetown (bounded by Grafton Street, Queen Street and Richmond Street / Victoria Row). Its distinctive Brutalist style architecture and sandstone-clad “cubes” stands out in the city.
Please note: The Richmond Street (Victoria Row) entrance is currently closed due to our exciting southern pavilion expansion and renovation.
Visitors should use the Box Office/Main Street entrance on Queen Street, which is fully wheelchair accessible.

Box Office/Main Entrance
From October 2024 to Summer 2026, please use the Box Office entrance (corner Queen and Grafton Streets).
Art Gallery Entrance
The Art Gallery entrance is accessible from Lou MacEachern Plaza (corner of Queen Street and Grafton Street) as well as from within the Centre from the Box Office entrance along the concourse.
The Mack
Our cabaret-style venue hosts performances from The Charlottetown Festival and LIVE @ the Centre. The theatre capacity is 200 and the seating is reserved.

Parking
Confederation Centre of the Arts does not have its own parking garage. Street parking is available around the building. There are three parking garages located within walking distance of the theatre. The Pownal Street Parking Garage is located at 100 Pownal Street; Queen Street Parking Garage is located at 222 Queen Street and Fitzroy Street Parking Garage is located on the corner of Fitzroy and Prince Street. Two hour metered parking is also available throughout downtown Charlottetown.
Please note that patrons are not required to pay for metered parking after 4:00 p.m. on weekdays, or on weekends or statutory holidays. Patrons are reminded to allow enough time to obtain suitable parking and to pick up your tickets at the box office prior to the show. Finding parking can be particularly difficult for weekday matinee performances.
Transit
Confederation Centre of the Arts is centrally located at a major T3 Transit hub. Full route and schedule information can be found at t3transit.ca.
Active Transport, Rentals, and Rideshares
In the centre of downtown Charlottetown, Confederation Centre of the Arts is easily accessible by a variety of active transport options. Accessibility
Confederation Centre is wheelchair accessible via the Queen Street entrance. The Art Gallery is wheelchair accessible via ramps to the Lou MacEachern Plaza and the main Art Gallery entrance. The Richmond Street (Vic Row) entrance is temporarily closed to allow for our exciting expansion and renovation of the southern pavilion.
