With the “Discovering Green Gables Package”, you’ll visit the Anne of Green Gables Museum at picturesque Silver Bush, Park Corner. After your visit, a horse and carriage will be waiting to whisk you away on a romantic carriage ride with “Matthew” as your guide and driver. Beginning at the Anne of Green Gables Museum, your ride will lead you through the beautiful flower gardens surrounding the museum and along the inspiring Lake of Shining Waters until you reach a lovely private beach. Passes to the Farmers’ Bank of Rustico, National Historic Site and the “precursor of the credit union movement, the first people’s bank in North America (circa 1864-94) and Doucet House Museums, an early Acadian log house, circa 1772, and a self-guided tour of St. Augustine’s Church, the oldest Catholic Church on PEI, circa 1838. All three are located just across the street from the Inn.
