How Confederation Centre is Responding to COVID-19
As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation evolves, the team at Confederation Centre of the Arts (CCOA) continues to closely monitor developments regionally and globally.
We are following official guidelines and operating procedures based on the most recent recommendations of the Public Health Office of the Province of P.E.I. in order to support health and safety in our community.
We want reassure all our visitors that the health of our employees, our patrons, our artists, and the general public is our priority. At this time, CCOA is operating as normal, based on the most recent health recommendations.
We will provide updates on our social media sites, on our website, and through local media should any of our theatre, gallery, arts education, facility rental, or catering services be affected based on future recommendations from Provincial Public Health.
In addition to our regular cleaning processes, our team is reviewing our operational procedures to implement new guidelines for patron interaction; additional steps for the sanitization of surfaces; and alternate food and beverage handling and service options. We are also sourcing additional sanitization products (e.g. hand sanitizer, wipes, etc.) for staff and for high traffic areas within the complex.
Please be advised, that masks MUST be warn when entering Confederation Centre. Patrons can remove masks to enjoy a snack or drink in their theatre seat but should otherwise be masked throughout their visit.
