This weeklong afternoon camp is intended for singers with previous musical, vocal, and/or choral experience who are interested in taking their skills to the next level as both individuals and members of an ensemble. Campers will engage with the process of rehearsing a selection of intermediate to advanced choral repertoire in preparation for an end-of-camp concert. Working as a team, choristers will learn and develop tools to improve their skills in the following areas: vocal technique and expression; choral ensemble and performance; and music literacy and ear training. The experience will culminate in a performance that will take place on the final day of the camp in a Confederation Centre venue and which will be open to family, friends, and the broader community.
Registration for this camp is by audition for youth ages 10-18. Once you register to save an audition spot, you will be contacted with information on what to expect in the audition process, music materials to prepare, etc.
