Confederation Centre of the Arts Summer Camps are creative, immersive arts experiences for children and youth aged 5–17 throughout July and August. Designed to foster a love and understanding of different art forms, our programs go beyond typical summer activities by combining expert instruction, professional arts exposure, and creative community.

Our summer camps provide:
🎨 Enriching arts-led learning in a supportive, structured environment tailored to inspire creativity, confidence, and artistic skill development.
👩‍🏫 Experienced teaching artists with Vulnerable Sector clearance who bring real-world expertise and mentorship to every session.
🖼️ Access to dedicated arts facilities and resources, providing campers with space and tools to explore visual arts, theatre, dance and music.
🎭 Opportunities to learn from and interact with arts professionals, including guest artists and industry practitioners.
🖼️ Weekly cultural outings, such as visits to the Confederation Centre Art Gallery and a matinee performance at the Charlottetown Festival, to broaden creative perspectives and link classroom learning with live cultural experiences.
👪 Showcases for families at the end of each week, giving campers a chance to display their work and celebrate their achievements with loved ones.

Come perform with us!

This dynamic two-week Musical Theatre Intensive invites young performers ages 12–17 to dive deep into the world of musical theatre in a professional, inspiring environment. With a focus on singing, acting, and dancing, students will strengthen their skills as a triple threat while gaining valuable insight into what it takes to work in the industry.

Featuring guest instructors from the Charlottetown Festival, campers will train with experienced professionals and learn directly from artists working on Canada’s longest-running musical theatre festival. Each week includes a Charlottetown Festival matinee performance, offering students the opportunity to connect their training with live professional theatre.

Beyond performance technique, students will participate in industry-focused workshops covering topics such as audition preparation, professionalism, and life as a performer. The intensive culminates in a final performance, where students showcase their growth and creativity for family and friends.
