The Ireland-born Charlottetown singer-songwriter returns with a completely reimagined show. Backed by a lush string ensemble, hear Irish Mythen’s folk/roots music in a brand-new sonic landscape. Their live performances are a thing of raw power, emotion, and connection with the audience

Ireland-born Charlottetown singer-songwriter Irish Mythen returns with a completely reimagined show, this time backed by a lush 10-piece string ensemble. Known for her raw power, emotional depth, and an unmatched connection with audiences, Irish’s live performances must be seen to be believed.

This new show offers a fresh sonic landscape for her folk/roots music, inviting fans to hear their favorite songs in an entirely new way. “I want Irish Mythen fans to sit there and say ‘wait, what song is this?’ and then fall in love with the new arrangements,” she says.

Her latest release, Little Bones, earned global recognition, including a 2020 JUNO nomination and seven Music PEI 2020 nominations, with two wins—Touring Artist of the Year and Roots Contemporary Recording of the Year. Alongside Little Bones, her previous self-titled album garnered acclaim from outlets like Australian Guitar Magazine and Rolling Stone, solidifying Irish as a must-see artist.

Special guests Joce Reyome and Catherine MacLellan join Irish on stage, bringing their own magic to this innovative performance. “We’re deconstructing the songs and letting the strings do the talking,” Irish shares. “I’m so proud of everyone’s hard work on this show, and I wouldn’t want to debut it anywhere else than my home, Charlottetown, at one of Canada’s finest venues, the Confederation Centre of the Arts.”

Don’t miss this unique concert experience that blends masterful musicianship, new arrangements, and the kind of heartfelt energy only Irish Mythen and her guests can deliver.

Joce Reyome has been captivating audiences across Atlantic Canada with their dynamic performances. A skilled vocalist and session musician, Joce has shared the stage with artists like Irish Mythen and KINLEY, while their debut single “Cross My Heart” and follow-up “Grateful” have showcased their soulful, blues-infused sound. Winner of the 2022 Music PEI “Entertainer of the Year,” their inspiration from the likes of Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin, and Tracy Chapman, brings old school vibes to new times.

Catherine MacLellan has captivated audiences for over 20 years with her music, blending folk and roots with a range of influences. Hailing from Prince Edward Island and the daughter of legendary singer-songwriter Gene MacLellan, she shares heartfelt songs that explore life’s challenges and joys, through a warm presence and heartfelt, musical experience.
