A COMPASSTECH LIVE AT THE CENTRE PRESENTATION
Everybody is a master of something. Blink, step, jump, balance, flip, fly. This is an ode to the countless hours needed to achieve great things. A tribute to the dedication required to realize our physical ambitions. An acknowledgement of the backstory that is often more spectacular than the finished product.
Eight world class acrobats investigate physical skill; how we obtain it, how we perfect it, and how it can transform our lives. Demonstrating high-flying flips and tricks, they will show the audience a greater appreciation of acrobatics and the dedication it takes to become a master of the form!
Gravity & Other Myths is a circus company with roots in Adelaide, Australia. After forming in 2009 as a group of young artists with a passion for circus and physical theatre, they’ve spent the past 13 years growing steadily and creating six critically acclaimed main stage works.
This is a love letter to our bodies and the amazing things they let us do every day. This is an invitation to watch us work.

“Jaw-dropping” – The AU review ★★★★★
“Regular gasps and squeals of disbelief from the audience members behind me, and spontaneous applause from the audience throughout, reassure me that it is not just me who thinks some of the skills on display are unbelievable. This is an almost mind blowing level of skill on display and what can be achieved with a dedicated pursuit of perfection.” – The Clothesline ★★★★★
“The performance is a showcase of this company’s talent that extends way beyond acrobatics, into visual storytelling, movement, and contemporary dance.” – Stage Whispers ★★★★★
