The Outdoor Amphitheatre at Confederation Centre of the Arts comes alive in the summer with lively, musical, and family-friendly performances from local artists.

Admission to these noon hour performances is free, with donations welcome.


The Outdoor Stage is located within the grounds of the Confederation Centre of the Arts in Charlottetown, PEI. It is nestled amidst beautifully landscaped surroundings, providing an enchanting backdrop for performances.

The design of the Outdoor Stage emphasizes a harmonious blend of nature and performance space. It features a semi-circular arrangement, allowing for excellent sightlines and ensuring that every audience member has an unobstructed view of the stage.

Rhythmz and stories of red earth

Celebrating over a decade as Atlantic Canada’s premier Indigenous theatre company, the Mi’kmaq Heritage Actors share the history of Indigenous people on Prince Edward Island through stories, songs, and beautiful traditional dance. This fun and interactive show features colourful regalia, traditional instruments, and teachings for all ages.

This high-energy dance show explores the fusion of traditional Island step with Caribbean and South American movement. The acclaimed Roberts Dance Academy and Xclusiv Dance Crew collaborate for this dynamic performance that demonstrates how diverse cultures can come together and share their love for dance.
