Confederation Centre Arts Academy serves the community through a wide range of programs in dance, music, theatre, and visual arts, while also offering professional development and training opportunities.

Confederation Centre’s Arts Academy invites people of all ages to discover, create, and connect through the arts. Are You an Artist Educator?

We’re expanding our team of talented artist-instructors who inspire creativity and curiosity in learners of all ages — from toddlers to seniors. If you’re passionate about teaching, value the power of the arts, and want to help shape the next generation of artists (or spark lifelong learning in adults), we’d love to hear from you!

What We’re Looking For

Confederation Centre of the Arts is dedicated to delivering high-quality arts education in a fun, inclusive, and safe environment. We offer recreational programming that supports personal growth, artistic development, and transferable life skills.

Our ideal instructors:

  • Bring energy, creativity, and professionalism

Who We Serve

Our current programs serve a wide range of age groups — toddlers, preschoolers, K–12 students, adults, and seniors — and we’re always exploring new opportunities to expand.

Classes are supported by professional facilities, resources, and a vibrant community of fellow artists and educators.

dance umbrella

This long-running dance program offers classes for all ages and skills levels. We strive to help our students feel confident, successful, and challenged in their dance classes.

Ages: 18 months – Adult

Choral And Music

Our three choirs offer opportunities for choristers to come together to sing fun, challenging, and powerful music from a broad range of styles and influences.

Ages: 8 – Adult

Visual Arts

These programs delve into various techniques such as painting, drawing, printmaking, and sculpting. Students create artwork and receive guided tours of the Gallery.

Ages: 6 – 12

Camps

We offer PD Day Camps, Winter Break Camps and Summer Camps offering a full range of activities including painting, sculpting, drawing, and performing.

Ages: 6 – 18

Workshops 

Our workshop series offers members of PEI’s arts community an opportunity to explore information and avenues within the arts which may not be readily accessible, while our School Programs are designed to enhance curriculum outcomes with a visit to the Centre
