Islanders Rose Cousins and Justin Shaw added to LIVE @ the Centre lineup 

September 27, 2024 – Two Island entertainers will return to Confederation Centre of the Arts for the LIVE @ the Centre 2024-2025 season. Sponsored by CompassTech, the LIVE @ the Centre program features an eclectic lineup of entertainment, from music to comedy to magic.

After a sold out run of 70 Mile Yard Sale at The 2024 Charlottetown Festival, comedian and storyteller Justin Shaw will return to The Mack with another solo show full of hilarious holiday havoc. With performances on Thursday, December 5 and Friday, December 6, A Creature is Stirring: A Christm-ish Comedy tells the tells the painfully true story about Shaw’s first Christmas in the big city and being trapped in his home with a rodent. The wild tale is tied together with hilarious stories from past relationships, growing up on Prince Edward Island, and his travels across Canada.

Rose Cousins will play the Sobey Family Theatre on Wednesday, April 16 with new music as part of her Conditions of Love Tour. Renowned for its emotional depth and raw honesty, the beloved singer-songwriter’s music plumbs the depths of the human condition with her unique blend of folk-pop that dives into the complicated feelings of love. The performance is sponsored by Anthony Delodder.

Tickets for these newly added shows are on sale to Centre members on Wednesday, October 2, and to the public on Thursday, October 3. Tickets can be purchased online at confederationcentre.com, via phone at 1-800-565-0278, or in person at the Centre’s box office.
