As Confederation Centre of the Arts celebrates 60 years in 2024, it will present two legendary musicals as part of The Charlottetown Festival. Anne of Green Gables–The Musical™ and Jersey Boys will play at Sobey Family Theatre, the Centre’s main stage, through the summer.
Since 1965, The Charlottetown Festival has been the largest theatre festival in Atlantic Canada, committed to creating new Canadian works and promoting the country’s vibrant musical theatre scene.

Anne of Green Gables–The Musical™
See Prince Edward Island’s iconic redhead on stage this summer! This Canadian classic is a humorous, touching, and truly athletic musical that will inspire your imagination, tickle your funny bone, and mesmerize you with its graceful and exhilarating singing and dancing.

Relaxed Performance| Anne of Green Gables–The Musical™
As part of our efforts to be more accessible, the Centre is offering this Relaxed Performance – designed to make theatre spaces more welcoming for audience members who may experience anxiety, are sensory-sensitive, or are not comfortable with the conventions of a theatre setting.

Jersey Boys
They were just four guys from New Jersey – until they sang their very first note. They had a sound nobody had ever heard, and people couldn’t get enough. But while their harmonies were perfect on stage, their lives off stage were a very different story.
Catch the rags-to-riches story of the 1960s rock and roll group Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, featuring hit songs like “Sherry”, “Walk Like A Man”, “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You”, “December, 1963 (Oh What A Night)”, and more!
