Cavendish Farms announced as title sponsor of The 2025 Charlottetown Festival

April 30, 2025 – Confederation Centre of the Arts is thrilled to announce that Cavendish Farms is the title sponsor of The 2025 Charlottetown Festival. The agreement will support the six productions running from mid-June to the end of August, which will be attended by tens of thousands of Islanders and visitors.

From smash-hit musicals like Million Dollar Quartet to homegrown comedies like Tell Tale Harbour to Indigenous storytelling from The Mi’kmaq Heritage Actors, The 2025 Charlottetown Festival will deliver another season of high-energy productions featuring some of Canada’s best theatre artists.

This is Cavendish Farms’ first time as the Festival’s title sponsor; the plot of mainstage show Tell Tale Harbour makes them a natural partner to bring the production and others to the Festival stage this summer. Tell Tale Harbour tells the story of a small Atlantic fishing harbour willing to do anything to save their community, and they set out to secure a new frozen French fry factory for their town. As one of the largest processors of frozen potato products in North America, Cavendish Farms supports the communities where its employees live and work.

“This year Cavendish Farms is proud to celebrate our 45th anniversary and look forward to sponsoring The 2025 Charlottetown Festival in the province where our operations began. We hope Islanders and visitors alike get a chance to see one of the six special productions this summer.” – Robert K. Irving, President of Cavendish Farms

“Corporate sponsorship from community leaders like Cavendish Farms are critical to ensure we can continue to offer The Charlottetown Festival, an important economic driver for PEI, and flagship event for Atlantic Canada. We are grateful to Cavendish Farms for stepping up to support new Canadian work, amplify diverse voices, and help strengthen Canadian culture.” – Steve Bellamy, CEO of Confederation Centre of the Arts

The 2025 Charlottetown Festival runs June 14 – August 30. Tickets for all Festival shows can be purchased at the Centre’s box office, online at confederationcentre.com/festival25, or via phone at 1-800-565-0278.
