(Charlottetown, PE) – Confederation Centre of the Arts is thrilled to announce a three-year agreement with Cavendish Farms as the Title Sponsor for the Charlottetown Festival. The company’s renewed commitment will support three years of Festival productions from mid-June through the end of September, which draw more than 65,000 visitors each summer.
The multi-year commitment follows Cavendish Farms’ successful role as Title Sponsor of the Confederation Centre’s 2025 Charlottetown Festival, which featured Tell Tale Harbour and Million Dollar Quartet in the Sobey Family Theatre and four productions at The Mack.
The 2026 Charlottetown Festival delivers another season of Broadway-quality productions, including Anne of Green Gables—The Musical™, the original musical tale of Prince Edward Island’s most iconic redhead, and the award-winning international smash hit Come From Away, which chronicles the unique and emotional experiences from Gander, NL on September 11, 2001.
At The Mack, C’Mon In: An Island Kitchen Party invites audiences to pull up a chair for laugh-out-loud, music-filled nights all summer. The outdoor Amphitheatre hosts Polka Dot Door, revisiting the beloved Canadian children’s variety show.
As one of North America’s largest processors of frozen potato products and appetizers, Cavendish Farms continues to invest in the communities where its employees live and work, in turn supporting arts, culture, education, and sports across Prince Edward Island.
“For more than 45 years, Cavendish Farms has been proud to grow on Prince Edward Island. We are equally proud to offer long-term support to The Charlottetown Festival in the province where our operations began,” said Robert K. Irving, President of Cavendish Farms. “We hope Islanders and visitors alike get a chance to see the incredible lineup of productions this summer.”
“Corporate sponsorships from community leaders like Cavendish Farms are critical to ensuring we can continue to offer The Charlottetown Festival to visitors from around the world and right here at home,” says Steve Bellamy, CEO of Confederation Centre of the Arts. “The Festival is an important economic driver for PEI, and a flagship event for Atlantic Canada. We are grateful to Cavendish Farms for championing the impact of the Festival, for continuing to support new Canadian work, and for helping to strengthen Canadian culture.”
The 2026 Charlottetown Festival runs from June 6 to September 26. Tickets for all Festival shows can be purchased at the Centre’s box office, online at confederationcentre.com/festival26, or via phone at 1-800-565-0278.
On top of Cavendish Farms as the Charlottetown Festival’s Title Sponsor, other season Production Sponsors include Tim Hortons for Come From Away, CAA for Anne of Green Gables—The Musical™, and Key Murray Law for C’Mon In. A limited number of individual Performance Sponsorships remain available.
