The Young Company is one of our country’s leading performance-based training programs. With a strong focus on all three performance disciplines--and on building leadership skills–13 young artists gather each summer to share their life experiences and the stories that define us as Canadians.
In 2020, the troupe presents a new show that focuses on themes of: reconciliation, environmental sustainability, and their youth vision for Canada's future. This thoughtful musical will weave music and dance through stories of our collective histories from across ‘Turtle Island’.

Established in 1993, the Young Company is a long-standing pillar of arts education within The Charlottetown Festival and features artists from coast-to-coast-to-coast.
These troupe members take daily courses and workshops and perform in the outdoor amphitheatre or Memorial Hall (rain location).
