Tuesday Night LIVE! Brandon Howard Roy

| Mainstage
Nominated for two 2021 Music PEI Awards (New Artist of the Year, Digital Achievement of the Year) Brandon Howard Roy is excited to be making his Confederation Centre debut! Born and raised in Montreal, he earned a degree in Music and Theatre Performance from Toronto’s Sheridan College and is now proudly based in Charlottetown. Backed by a band made up of some of the East Coast's best musicians, his unique indie-pop sound serves up the vocal stylings of Freddie Mercury and Barbara Streisand with a modern twist. With catchy hooks and relatable lyrics and a stage presence cultivated from a life in the theatre, he is poised to make a big splash in the Island music scene and beyond!

About Tuesday Night LIVE!

Confederation Centre will be presenting a weekly concert series entitled Tuesday Night LIVE! Each Tuesday night performance sets the spotlight on a different Island artist, offering something new and dynamic on the Centre’s Mainstage.

Concertgoers are encouraged to bring a receipt from a local restaurant to the show — from that same day — to be entered to win a $50 restaurant gift card. Front-of-House attendants will collect signed receipts pre-show and a live draw will be conducted from the Mainstage.

What are Relaxed Performances?

Sometimes referred to as sensory-friendly experiences, Relaxed Performances give the opportunity for those with various sensitivities towards sensory stimuli to experience and enjoy live theatre.

These performances will be designed in a way to be more comfortable for audience members who may experience anxiety or are not comfortable with some aspects of a traditional theatre setting. This can include people on the Autism Spectrum and their families; those with sensory and communicative disorders or learning disabilities; people with Tourette’s syndrome; someone who might need to move often due to chronic pain or to use the facilities; or even parents with toddlers.

Relaxed Performances offered during the 2021 Charlottetown Festival:
  • I agree to receive further communications from Confederation Centre of the Arts for upcoming events, promotions and market research purposes.
