Halifax comedian Travis Lindsay is a prolific writer in the East Coast comedy scene. His great mix of jokes and storytelling has captivated audiences at the Just for Laughs Festival and on This Hour Has 22 Minutes. His observational stand-up set is guaranteed to be a hilarious night out!

He has made multiple appearances on CBC’s Halifax Comedy Festival, and his debut album, “The Kid is Alright,” reached #1 on the iTunes Comedy Charts. He has recorded for Just For Laughs Originals and was selected to perform at the Just For Laughs comedy festival as part of the New Faces of Comedy. He also released his second album, “Killed at the Funeral.” Additionally, he has appeared on “Comedy Night with Rick Mercer” and will be featured on the upcoming season of “The New Wave of Stand-Up Comedy.” Whether in a club or at a corporate event, Travis will surely leave the audience laughing and wanting more.

What are Relaxed Performances?

 

Sometimes referred to as sensory-friendly experiences, Relaxed Performances give the opportunity for those with various sensitivities towards sensory stimuli to experience and enjoy live theatre.

These performances will be designed in a way to be more comfortable for audience members who may experience anxiety or are not comfortable with some aspects of a traditional theatre setting. This can include people on the Autism Spectrum and their families; those with sensory and communicative disorders or learning disabilities; people with Tourette’s syndrome; someone who might need to move often due to chronic pain or to use the facilities; or even parents with toddlers.
