In celebration of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s music, Zac Mansfield has put together a new and improved revue show featuring all of your favourite songs….plus obscure gems from Andrew’s lesser-known shows.
Scaled back to feature stunning vocalists backed by the hauntingly intimate accompaniment of the piano, with anecdotal narrations provided to enhance your experience and admiration of the Lord Lloyd Webber’s music!
ABOUT THE PRODUCTION: Beginning as The Music of the Night: The Music and Legacy of Andrew Lloyd Webber, the show was originally presented in a sold-out workshop production in Oshawa, ON in May of 2019. Revisions, including the popular choice to add a narrator to the proceedings, took place before the show embarked on its first Ontario tour in September of 2019. That original tour was cut short due to the pandemic, but it was able to play one 2020 date – and so we like to boast we have never missed a calendar year! After a pandemic break, another revised version appeared in only 3 Ontario venues during the fall of 2021, when The Music of the Night was retired. ‘Til I Hear You Sing! was named after producer Zac Mansfield’s favourite Andrew Lloyd Webber song, and this show is a brand-new version of Mansfield’s original revue and tribute. It premiered in Toronto in September of 2022, and played 10 more cities in its Ontario tour of 2022/2023.
This concert, a loving tribute to the great Andrew Lloyd Webber, is now in its final season, and we are thrilled to share it with more of Canada. The show is scheduled to play its final performance – in Oshawa, where it all began – in May of 2024, on its 5th anniversary.
