The life of a singer-songwriter can be lonely, but JUNO Award-winning Islander, Rose Cousins believes that it doesn’t have to be that way. When a Cousins performance ends, all those present are linked—a group of strangers who gathered for one night, moved by the same moments in her stirring songs. This March, come celebrate her latest album, 'Bravado', in Charlottetown's finest listening room
The Pride of Kensington, P.E.I., Rose will release her new album world-wide on February 21. The award-winning songwriter describes the album as the sound of a heart trying to open. “It explores the complication of emotion, its irrational tendencies, and its wisdom,” she offers. “It invites us to feel the courage it takes to be vulnerable.”
For Rose, this new chapter is a personal and professional metamorphosis. She is in the producer
chair, applying her years of experience, trusting her own ear, and pulling thoughtfully from her
network of talented colleagues.
