Country roots have always flowed through Nolan Compton’s veins. Growing up on the family potato farm on the Bangor Road in eastern PEI, music was a big part of the early years, but it wasn’t until he turned 17 that he picked up the guitar for the first time. Nolan performs his own music, carrying a style comparable to modern country, but with a taste of old country swagger in the mix.
After receiving positive feedback from early audiences, Nolan branched out from his hometown to performing across P.E.I., and at the 2018 New Brunswick Country Showcase. He was later selected as one of five musicians to open for Ryan Cook on his 2018 Rural Routes Tour
Nolan also enjoys donating his gift of music to such benefit concerts for those in need as well as Camp Gencheff Children’s Camp. With his music career just beginning, he has full intentions of recording his original material, and will continue playing at venues across the Island as the opportunity arises.
