Finding Faeries & Folklore Guided Walking Tour

This family-friendly, 45 minute adventure invites you to hear of the Island’s mystical creatures, the mysteries that surround them and the mischief they have been known to cause! The tour will start from Founder’s Hall, meander along the waterfront, through Confederation Landing Park and end at the foot of Historic Great George Street.

Social Distancing will be in place for the duration of the tour. It is encouraged that all participants wear face masks.

Tour Information 

For the safety of staff, patrons and performers, Confederation Centre of the Arts has implemented new measures meant to help reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19. Please take some time to familiarize yourself with these measures before arriving for the tour. We thank you in advance for your patience and understanding, as we work through the new normal together. Please don’t hesitate to contact the box office directly by telephone at 902-566-1267 or send an email boxoffice@confederationcentre.com and we will do our best to answer your questions.  Rest assured we will do our best to make sure you have a positive experience. The box office will be open from 12-3 p.m. on tour days.

  • Please maintain Physical distancing of 6 ft between parties when possible.
  • Masks are recommended for the tour, but are not required. However, we encourage you to wear a mask to keep performers and fellow tour guests safe.
  • If you are experiencing any symptoms including fever, cough, sore throat or shortness of breath, please contact the box office for a full refund up until ShowTime.

What are Relaxed Performances?

 

Sometimes referred to as sensory-friendly experiences, Relaxed Performances give the opportunity for those with various sensitivities towards sensory stimuli to experience and enjoy live theatre.

These performances will be designed in a way to be more comfortable for audience members who may experience anxiety or are not comfortable with some aspects of a traditional theatre setting. This can include people on the Autism Spectrum and their families; those with sensory and communicative disorders or learning disabilities; people with Tourette’s syndrome; someone who might need to move often due to chronic pain or to use the facilities; or even parents with toddlers.
