Exploring Visual Arts Camp

Looking to nurture your child’s interest in visual arts? Sign them up for our Winter Break Visual Art Camps in the Schurman Family Studio.

 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.  *Early Drop-off/Late Pick-up: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Through a combination of guided and open-ended activities, your young artist will create paintings, sculptures, drawings, and various crafts to take home. Our theme for the week is Fairy Tales and Fantasy.

Alongside these activities campers will get in-depth tours of our current exhibitions, giving students a unique opportunity to explore art through both hands-on and observational experiences.   


Regular camp rate Mon- Fri 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.: $200.00 

*Early drop-off/late pick-up rate Mon-Fri 8a.m. – 5p.m.: $250.00

*Please note that regular camp drop-off begins at 8:45 a.m. with a pick-up time of 4:00 p.m., families needing an earlier drop-off / later pick-up time should register for our early drop-off / late pick-up rate which allows for drop-off beginning at 8:00 a.m. and pick-up at 5:00 p.m. 

Family Discount 

A family discount is applied to households who register for 3 or more Winter Break camps during the period of Feb 21-Mar 3, 2023.  Please note that students do not need to attend the same camp to receive the discount. 

Refund Policy:  Refunds are provided to students providing 2 or more weeks notice of camp withdrawal, participants withdrawing less than two-weeks prior to camp must provide a medical note to be eligible for refunds.

What are Relaxed Performances?


Sometimes referred to as sensory-friendly experiences, Relaxed Performances give the opportunity for those with various sensitivities towards sensory stimuli to experience and enjoy live theatre.

These performances will be designed in a way to be more comfortable for audience members who may experience anxiety or are not comfortable with some aspects of a traditional theatre setting. This can include people on the Autism Spectrum and their families; those with sensory and communicative disorders or learning disabilities; people with Tourette’s syndrome; someone who might need to move often due to chronic pain or to use the facilities; or even parents with toddlers.
