Green River is the third studio album by American rock band Creedence Clearwater Revival. The second of three albums released by the hit-makers in 1969 produced fan-favourite and chart-dominating hits such as ‘Bad Moon Rising,’ ‘Green River,’ ‘Lodi,’ and ‘Commotion.’ Producer and primary songwriter John Fogerty’s own favourite CCR album, Green River was described by Rolling Stone magazine as “the most vivid American rock since Music from Big Pink.” In 2003, the magazine listed the album at number 95 on its list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.
