Singer, songwriter, and guitarist Matt Andersen is taking the holiday party on the road! The Snowman's Ball: Christmas with Matt Andersen and Friends will be on the Mainstage of Confederation Centre, as they travel throughout the Maritimes this December. Performing holiday favourites with his trio, the show features special guest appearances by Fortunate Ones and Reeny Smith. The Snowman’s Ball is becoming a can’t-miss tradition, so gather friends and family to celebrate the season. It’s never too early to get in the spirit!
A powerhouse performer with a giant, soul-filled voice and commanding stage presence, Matt Andersen has built a formidable following the old-fashioned way: touring worldwide and letting his stunned audiences and new devotees spread the good word of his righteous tunes all over. He’s headlined gigs throughout North America, Europe, and Australia, shared stages with Bo Diddley, Buddy Guy, Greg Allman, and Tedeschi Trucks, to name a few, amassed over 18 million YouTube views, and been honoured with multiple awards, including eight Maple Blues Awards.

This fall we pay tribute to frontline workers, who despite the incredible risk, have kept our province running through the pandemic. To honour them, Confederation Centre of the Arts will set aside a number of complimentary seats for each performance during LIVE @ the Centre season.
To attend this performance, you must show one of the following upon arrival:
• Proof of vaccination along with a valid government-issued ID
• Written exemption from the Chief Public Health Office confirming inability to be vaccinated
Masks are required at all times but can be removed while eating or drinking.

What are Relaxed Performances?
Sometimes referred to as sensory-friendly experiences, Relaxed Performances give the opportunity for those with various sensitivities towards sensory stimuli to experience and enjoy live theatre.
These performances will be designed in a way to be more comfortable for audience members who may experience anxiety or are not comfortable with some aspects of a traditional theatre setting. This can include people on the Autism Spectrum and their families; those with sensory and communicative disorders or learning disabilities; people with Tourette’s syndrome; someone who might need to move often due to chronic pain or to use the facilities; or even parents with toddlers.
