Kick off your Christmas by attending The Salvation Army’s magical and lively Beary Merry event, which takes place on December 13th at the Confederation Centre of the Arts in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. This signature event draws individuals and families from across island communities who enjoy musical entertainment from the distinguished Stadacona Band of the Royal Canadian Navy and the Confederation Centre Youth Chorus.
Our guests, dressed in their Christmas best, are encouraged to bring toys to the event for underserved children who are delighted to see them under the tree on Christmas day. Monetary donations are also always welcome to help make Christmas special for many individuals and families. Donations can be made in person at the event or online at salvationarmy.ca/donate.
Thanks to the support of the band, the youth chorus, our communities and donors, each year, our three Beary Merry events that take place across the Maritimes, raise necessary funds for our Christmas assistance programs and they also gather thousands of toys for children ages 0 to 18. Throughout the year last year, 31,500 people were helped through Salvation Army family services programming across the Maritimes with food, clothing, shelter and other basic needs.
Together, we are able to help make Christmas much brighter for many and at the same time, give hope today.
Reserve your Beary Merry ticket today for just $15; contact the box office at 1 (800) 565-0278 or click on the Buy Ticket link.
