The 4th annual exhibition of work from graduating students in the Media programs at Holland College will be on view in the concourse cases at the Confederation Centre of the Arts from March 29 until May 2. Nigel Roe, instructor for Holland College’s Graphic Design program, said the students are excited about the upcoming exhibition.
“For many of our students, this is the first time that their work will have been part of a public exhibition, so they’re looking forward to being able to showcase their art,” he said.
The official opening reception for the exhibition will take place on Thursday, April 5 at 5:00 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
While wandering the Centre’s concourse, visitors will be able to experience the works of graduating students in the Graphic Design, Fundamental Arts, Photography and Digital Imaging, Interactive Multimedia, and Video Game Art and Animation of Holland College’s five Media programs. Each program studio will be presenting a variety of individual and collaborative projects undertaken over the past year.
“This exhibition is a great opportunity for Holland College students to showcase their work in a prominent public space,” said Kevin Rice, Confederation Centre Art Gallery director. “It’s a memorable experience for the students, and our visitors get to see such an interesting range of creative projects.”
