Jeune compagnie du Centre de la Confédération

Le spectacle de la Jeune compagnie du Centre de la Confédération porte sur de nombreux thèmes et questions qui sont au cœur du Canada d’aujourd’hui. Le spectacle de la Jeune compagnie 2018 qui a pour titre Aqsarniit (« awe-saw-nee »), mot inuktitut qui désigne les aurores boréales, présentera au public une comédie musicale pleine d’énergie qui revoit les histoires du passé du Canada et découvre celles que nous voudrons raconter dans le futur.

La Jeune compagnie du Centre de la Confédération compte parmi les meilleurs programmes de formation basée sur les prestations au pays. Mettant l’accent sur les trois disciplines de la scène, 13 jeunes artistes de tout le Canada se réunissent pour partager leurs expériences de vie et raconter les histoires qui nous définissent en tant que Canadiens. Ce spectacle musical entraînant marie musique et danse, nous racontant les histoire de notre identité canadienne collective.

What are Relaxed Performances?

 

Sometimes referred to as sensory-friendly experiences, Relaxed Performances give the opportunity for those with various sensitivities towards sensory stimuli to experience and enjoy live theatre.

These performances will be designed in a way to be more comfortable for audience members who may experience anxiety or are not comfortable with some aspects of a traditional theatre setting. This can include people on the Autism Spectrum and their families; those with sensory and communicative disorders or learning disabilities; people with Tourette’s syndrome; someone who might need to move often due to chronic pain or to use the facilities; or even parents with toddlers.
