Lorsque l’harmoniciste habituel de Dutch Mason tombe malade, Dutch invite David Bedford, professeur de sciences politiques et harmoniciste amateur, à se joindre à ses musiciens pour une tournée historique qui choquera Bedford qui vivait auparavant une vie ultra-conformiste. De la petite chambre de Dutch dans une maison de pension de Truro, Nouvelle-Écosse, à la spacieuse banquette arrière de la Cadillac Eldorado 1995 où Dutch tenait cour, Bedford apprend vite que c’est sous les feux de la rampe enfumés que le vrai génie de Dutch Mason se révèle. L’authenticité de la musique de Dutch est le fruit de ses propres expéreinces de vie.

Tout comme l’homme lui-même, DUTCH MASON prend des risques, raconte des histoires, enfreint occasionnellement la loi et est en quête constante du meilleurs blues au pays.

What are Relaxed Performances?

 

Sometimes referred to as sensory-friendly experiences, Relaxed Performances give the opportunity for those with various sensitivities towards sensory stimuli to experience and enjoy live theatre.

These performances will be designed in a way to be more comfortable for audience members who may experience anxiety or are not comfortable with some aspects of a traditional theatre setting. This can include people on the Autism Spectrum and their families; those with sensory and communicative disorders or learning disabilities; people with Tourette’s syndrome; someone who might need to move often due to chronic pain or to use the facilities; or even parents with toddlers.
