Matt Andersen is a powerhouse performer with a giant, soul-filled voice and commanding stage presence, having built a formidable following the old-fashioned way: touring worldwide and letting his stunned audiences spread the good word of his righteous tunes all over. Join us for holiday favourites and even some surprises!
Recorded live off the floor in Nashville, Tennessee, celebrated songwriter Matt Andersen’s tenth album, Halfway Home by Morning, collects all the essential elements for a down-home ramble. Over its lucky 13 tracks, he explores every facet of his sound—sweat-soaked soul, incendiary rhythm and blues, heartbroken folk, and gritty Americana—in the Southern Ground studio, the same spot that legends like Neil Young, Emmylou Harris, and Jerry Lee Lewis recorded. The album is as honest and compromise free as anything he’s ever done. The native New Brunswicker has proven time and time again, on stages everywhere from clubs to theatres, that he’s the genuine article.

What are Relaxed Performances?
Sometimes referred to as sensory-friendly experiences, Relaxed Performances give the opportunity for those with various sensitivities towards sensory stimuli to experience and enjoy live theatre.
These performances will be designed in a way to be more comfortable for audience members who may experience anxiety or are not comfortable with some aspects of a traditional theatre setting. This can include people on the Autism Spectrum and their families; those with sensory and communicative disorders or learning disabilities; people with Tourette’s syndrome; someone who might need to move often due to chronic pain or to use the facilities; or even parents with toddlers.
