Installation audio-visuelle basée sur des images prises par une caméra flottante et observe la respiration régulière de la mer et du ciel.

Ốps – mot grec pour œil ou œil circulaire – est une œuvre d’installation en cours basée sur l’accumulation de données audio-visuelles provenant de l’environnement, et présentée régulièrement dans des galeries. L’artiste a placé en mer une boîte hermétique flottante contenant un ensemble de micros et de caméras. Ce système de captation regarde et écoute la mer pendant une période déterminée. Cette masse de données sans cesse grandissante ne pointe au final que vers une chose fort simple, un œil tourné vers la mer, regardant la respiration constante et régulière de l’océan et du ciel, témoin de cycles et de rythmes qui provoquent des résonnances qui sont fondamentales au réel, à la forme et l’évolution du monde.

What are Relaxed Performances?

 

Sometimes referred to as sensory-friendly experiences, Relaxed Performances give the opportunity for those with various sensitivities towards sensory stimuli to experience and enjoy live theatre.

These performances will be designed in a way to be more comfortable for audience members who may experience anxiety or are not comfortable with some aspects of a traditional theatre setting. This can include people on the Autism Spectrum and their families; those with sensory and communicative disorders or learning disabilities; people with Tourette’s syndrome; someone who might need to move often due to chronic pain or to use the facilities; or even parents with toddlers.
