Come perform with us! This two-week intensive gives students ages 12-17 a chance to delve into the world of Musical Theatre. Featuring guest instructors from the Charlottetown Festival, students will expand their abilities as a triple threat while they dance, sing, and act their way to a final performance in our outdoor amphitheatre at the end of the second week.
Each week students will attend a Charlottetown Festival Performance, and will have the opportunity to meet with professionals in the industry to learn about life as a performer. In additional to performance training, students will have workshops in industry professionalism, including how to prepare for an audition! Participants will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the intensive.

What are Relaxed Performances?
Sometimes referred to as sensory-friendly experiences, Relaxed Performances give the opportunity for those with various sensitivities towards sensory stimuli to experience and enjoy live theatre.
These performances will be designed in a way to be more comfortable for audience members who may experience anxiety or are not comfortable with some aspects of a traditional theatre setting. This can include people on the Autism Spectrum and their families; those with sensory and communicative disorders or learning disabilities; people with Tourette’s syndrome; someone who might need to move often due to chronic pain or to use the facilities; or even parents with toddlers.
